There are a couple of little buildings in the rural village of Strydenburg that together form a nursery school, where toddlers can play and learn. At home, there is often a lack of stimulation but at the project they receive attention, are stimulated and are taught their first important lessons like counting and recognizing colours.
There is also after school care for older children. To begin with they are given a healthy meal, then they do their homework, with the support of the MAMAS, and afterwards they can relax, play games and practice some sport. The day finishes with another healthy meal. In the early evening they walk home with a full belly, properly prepared for the next day at school. And, they can put their minds to rest, with the certainty that the next day, they will again be able to count on the attention, support and stimulation provided by of the MAMAS.
